Information We Collect
You can browse without an account. When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, name, email address and profile photo, and we store the products you follow. We set only three cookies of our own: sid keeps you signed in (30 days), oauth_state protects the sign-in step against forged requests (10 minutes), and lang remembers your language (1 year). Recently viewed items stay in your browser and are never sent to us. We use no analytics or advertising cookies.
How We Use It
We use this information only to sign you in, sync your watchlist across devices, recommend items similar to the ones you follow, show pages in your chosen language, and keep the service running and secure. Searches are not recorded to your account. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Service Providers
The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database and search), and sign-in is provided by Google. Cloudflare keeps short-lived request logs containing your IP address, the URL visited, your browser type and the time. These servers may be located outside Japan. We do not share your information with any other third party unless required by law.
Amazon and Outbound Links
めちゃ安 participates in the Amazon Associates Program. Third parties, including Amazon and other advertisers, may provide content and advertisements, collect information directly from visitors, and place or recognize cookies on visitors' browsers. Links to Amazon and point sites open their own sites, where their privacy policies apply.
Retention and Deletion
Your profile and watchlist are kept until you delete your account. Choose "Delete account" at the bottom of Me (in the avatar menu on desktop) and both are deleted immediately. Signing out only ends the session on that device. Request logs are deleted automatically within a few days.
Your Choices
Everything we store is visible to you: your profile in Me and in the avatar menu on desktop, and the items you follow in your Watchlist. You can unfollow items or delete your account at any time. Your name and photo are refreshed from Google each time you sign in. If you block cookies, you will not stay signed in.
Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
