A THERMOS mug and a Tiger hot water pot from Amazon

I once bought a THERMOS JOY-1000 on Amazon, and in December 2024 I also got a Tiger electric hot water pot, the PDR-G221.

The JOY-1000 is a 1L insulated mug with a handle. There's a carrying loop on the lid, and it can go in the dishwasher. At 1L it's on the large side, good for holding a whole day's tea.

The PDR-G221 is a 2.2L electric pot that dispenses at the push of a button, with three keep-warm settings, 98°C, 90°C and 70°C, which cover both coffee and green tea. Tiger says it gives off about two-thirds less steam while boiling than earlier models, and it also has a 6-hour power-saving timer and boil-dry protection.
