De'Longhi fully automatic coffee machines
Amazon carries lots of De'Longhi fully automatic models, and the most common entry-level one is the Magnifica S (マグニフィカS). Pour beans into the hopper, fill the water tank, press a button, and it does everything from grinding to brewing, with the used grounds dropping into the grounds container automatically.
De'Longhi machines sold in Japan have a menu option labeled カフェ・ジャポーネ (Caffè Japone), added specifically for the Japanese market. It makes a long black coffee close to pour-over, so it's useful even if you don't normally drink espresso.
If you drink coffee with milk, look at how the machine froths it. The Magnifica S has a manual steam wand, so you froth the milk yourself in a pitcher. Pricier models froth milk automatically and make a latte at the push of a button, but you have to rinse the milk lines after every use. If you only drink black coffee, the entry-level model is enough. The Rivelia (リヴェリア) has a bean hopper you can swap out whole, which is handy if two people at home drink different beans.
Day to day, you empty the grounds container and the drip tray. The brew unit comes out in one piece and just needs a rinse with water. After a while the machine will prompt you to descale. Japanese tap water is on the soft side, so scale doesn't build up that fast, but follow the prompt anyway. The machine is pretty big, so measure your counter before you put it there, and leave room above it for topping up the bean hopper.
