I got the second-gen AirTag on Amazon

I bought the first AirTag on Amazon right when it came out in April 2021, and this March I bought the second-gen 4-pack.

The second gen looks about the same as the first, still runs on a CR2032 coin battery, and is still IP67 dust- and water-resistant; the upgrades are all on the inside. It has a second-gen UWB chip, so Precision Finding reaches up to 1.5x farther, and the speaker is 50% louder. When the thing is close by, Find My (探す) on your iPhone points you straight to it with an arrow and a distance, while a regular Bluetooth tracker only tells you it's nearby and leaves the rest to you.

AirTag only works with iPhone and iPad, so on an Android phone, just buy the tracker your phone's brand makes. It doesn't have a hole for attaching it, so to put it on your keys or bag you'll need a separate case or ring.

If you're buying several, the 4-pack works out cheaper per tag than buying them one by one.
